Test the new design of Google!
Regarding the design of the homepage, Google had recently swelled the elements and could test an experimental interface refined.
It is now possible to test a new interface more colorful, with a search bar and buttons bigger.
And the results page of search exchange too. Personally, the broad search bar with the blue search button at the end I was immediately reminded to Bing!
Swiftfox, versions of Firefox optimized for Linux
I very quickly tried to discover whether there were versions of my favorite browser specially dedicated to the architecture of my computer. I presented versions optimized for Intel or AMD.
Recently, I also found some versions of Firefox optimized for different OSes, including one for Linux.
Swiftfox is a version of Firefox specifically created for the Linux platform optimized for the 2 major families of processors (Intel and AMD).
Trojan disguised as an update Facebook
Facebook is the target of a Trojan horse. Zbot comes in the form of an email sent by the social network that informs the need of an update. According to the mail, in English, this update is necessary to continue using the service.
The email address of the sender is of the form update12424232@facebookmail.com where 12,424,232 is a sequence of numeric variable and the subject of the message is “Facebook account update”
In the mail is a link that once clicked to download a program called updatetool.exe
Google partnership with Avast
From mid-November, during the installation of Avast, we could see a new page: a recommendation for installation of the browser Google Chrome followed by an option to install the browser.
This is a first for the Czech company that had never agreed to partner up. According to information available on the blog Avast, this change is explained by the proximity of philosophy and because Google Chrome is considered as a good complement to the virus.
